Tulsa Body Works -- A Truk' Quip Company

COMPANY INFORMATION

1951 - Truck Parts and Equipment, a truck salvage business, was founded by Ray Schafer
and Bennett bond of "White Motor Co."
1955 - New truck parts and equipment were added to the business along with the name "Truk’ Quip.
1958 - Schafer and Bond sold the salvage portion of the company to Clarence Weaver.
The company then became a full line truck equipment distributor.
1961 - Began manufacturing platform and custom bodies.
1988 - Acquired Tulsa Body Works and began manufacturing toolboxes, oil field bodies,
dump bodies and bodies to fit customers special needs.
